This year’s theme will revolve around possible OEM devices and Microsoft’s Surface Device updates, including some X-Box related announcements.

No Surface Phones This Year for Microsoft

A report from ZDNET says that no brand new device will be launched this year. Both the Surface phone and Surface Pro 5 may possibly not make an appearance at the event.

As per publication, Microsoft is still in the process of working out its Lumia line considering that the said phones were not much of a success. If speculations are proven right, the Surface phone could be launched along with the Samsung S8 in 2017.

Microsoft’s All-in-One Surface PC Launches

While no new phones will be unveiled at the Hardware Event, Microsoft is expected to launch its All-in-One Surface PC. There is not much information available pertaining to the Surface AIO, but reports say that it could possibly have a modular design that could possibly be innovative.

The company is also expected to introduce two new keyboards and two different Surface Mouse along with Surface AIO.

Windows 10 Update for Microsoft

An upcoming update for Windows 10 will also be announced at the event. The update, which is codenamed “Redstone 2” will probably take on much-needed features and enhancements to Windows 10 Mobile users.

It was originally scheduled to launch this year, but due to some internal delays, Microsoft decided to reschedule it next year.

Microsoft Xbox Project Scorpio

Reports about Holo Lens and Xbox Project Scorpio will also be brought up during the event. Earlier reports have speculated that Xbox Project Scorpio will support 4K gaming and will feature six teraflops of power.
