I Microsoft has pushed out another preview release build of Windows 10 for the PC and mobile phone platforms, just days after releasing the previous update.
As with other recent releases, this build contains just a few new features but many fixes as Microsoft gears up for the next major update to Windows 10.
Available now for Microsoft’s Windows Insider test community on the Fast Ring, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14367 for PC and Mobile delivers features such as extended handwriting recognition language support and a new tool to perform clean installations of builds.
Now, you’ll be able to take a screenshot and submit feedback simultaneously. Not only do we get an easy option to nuke all the junk on new PCs, we have a way to wipe a Win10 PC clean without going through the Media creation tool step and figuring out how to boot from a USB drive.
Using the Windows key + F combination opens up the Feedback Hub and attaches a screenshot of whatever’s on your display at the time, replacing the former shortcut of Windows key + Shift +?, which will now be discontinued.
Wells Fargo has long supported Windows users and has offered an app built for a previous version of Windows for mobile devices for years. “Using this tool will remove ALL applications that do not come standard with Windows, including other Microsoft applications such as Office”.
In addition, Windows 10 is as user-friendly as Windows 7, mainly because it abandons the worst features of the appalling Windows 8.
“We also fixed an issue where mouse wheel scrolling wouldn’t work to spin the ruler with certain mice, and an issue where dismissing the share pane or accepting the prompt to enter tablet mode would result in exiting the Windows Ink Workspace”.
A big message box appeared on millions of computers, announcing they were “scheduled” for a Windows 10 upgrade. So Microsoft must get its new operating system on as many machines as possible, as quickly as possible.
Windows 10 game sales are far higher on desktop than they are on mobile, according to a game developer. In this case, clicking the “X” amounted to confirmation the user wanted an upgrade.
Microsoft is now readying the launch of a new tool that will make it easier to do a clean install of Windows 10, free of bloatware.
The company may also signal that code lock-down is imminent by halting delivery of builds to the Insider program.
